ORIGINAL ARTICLE
Maximum words: 4,000, Max tables: 4, Max Figures: 6
Original articles should be arranged in the following order:
- Title: The title is written in the sentence-case
- Abstract: Abstracts must be written in single-space layout. Consists of a brief background of the topic, the goal of the case report. Describe the history, physical examination, laboratory tests and imaging, treatment, and follow-up of the case. In total, the abstract should not exceed more than 250 words. The abstract is written in English.
- Introduction: Provide a brief introduction to the topics studied. The introduction should be written in a double-space layout, one-and-a-half page long in maximum. Remember that the first time an acronym is used in the body text, an explanation of what it stands for is needed.
- Methods: State the type of research and when/where was it carried out. Explain the sampling method and, if necessary, why the method was used. There is no need to define the operational variables unless they are defined as something unusual than a common definition. An ethical clearance statement is a must. For a study that retained informed consent to the subjects, it must be explained here. Identify the statistical tests used to analyze the data.
- Results: Tables and figures must be written in order and comply with standard rules for table writing: self-explanatory, well-described, compact, and provides proper legend (especially when the table contains a lot of abbreviations).
- Discussion: This section should discuss the findings of the study. The similarity of discrepancy to popular knowledge of current understanding of the topic must be discussed. Remember that this manuscript will be published in a scientific journal, so personal opinions will be valued at least.
- Conclusion: Explain briefly the conclusion of the study.
- Acknowledgments:
- References: We used the AMA citation style for references. References must use Mendeley's assistance. The maximum number of references: 25
